Fast, Efficient, Powerful
I have a super high-end audio software program, however day-in and day-out I find myself using this audio editing program more often. It is a beautifully written software program. It is fast, efficient and an oustanding editor of audio files. Most frequently for podcasting, I find myself creating markers, splitting a file through markers, using audio waveform data to look for places where audio peaks, playing with amplitude and normalization, and doing simple edits. Every, single, task - this program does it quickly and efficiently. I love this program.
dependable and deep in features
I've been using this app for maybe 15 years. Some years more than others. I'm continually finding features to address my audio needs. It's always been a rock solid, bug free app. Just today I read a section in the manual explaining how to normalize audio within a file and across files, which is hugely helpful for making background music to my wife's online fitness videos. This is all accomplished with a batch processor saving tons of time. This is yet one of the countless features that does exactly what I need, and saves me time.
I haven't used an audio program that has been this easy and useful ever. I had some expensive vinyl albums to digitize and this worked perfect! The only thing that could make it better is if there would be a way to send the audio to individual files based on the markers. Although the burn to cd does this, the only way I could figure out how to make individual files was to highlight each section between markers and then save the selection...
With Family Sharing set up, up to six family members can use this app.
