It’s fun to have a small group of people in on something together, and that’s what this app is. It’s new, and if you stick around you can witness all the little updates that make it better. It’s silly seeing people’s lives, and they see yours too. I made some silly friends on here. You can post links to things which is fun. My favorite thing is when i post photos. My most favorite thing is when i post cat photos which ends up bringing everyone together on my post. FYI getting 12 hug-likes is a big win. Very niche and small population. Post your pets. It may seem hard to connect with people, but you just have to comment on every post you find and people will say hi to you back. There is room for updates to make it more efficient or to find people with your same interests, but overall it’s a fun honest app that you can be very honest with and not worry about people thinking you’re weird. Also hop in so you can be og incase it gets popular. It’s a very cozy app and I post all the time.Edit: Yeah it does need some sort of algorithm or maybe to look up key words in a post to find related interests or smth other than js being able to look through the different moods. and also needs more moods. i like the christmas updates they keep popping out.

it's genuinely an AMAZING app. like idk how many times i've been on there but one thing that worries me is THOSE ppl... like i really really like the fact that the app is so chill and lowkey yk? idk W app tho. -side thing(can we get a different variety of emotions or an opinion to choose 2(like combine different emotions in one mood thing) and i feel like the colors would blend or fade into each other? idk i just wanted to ask for more moods-

Once again I’m coming here to say that ambys flags stuff for no reason. Like I said before, the flagging system is so weird & to delete my review is EVEN MORE suspicious. Says a lot about the ethics & morals of this app.. anyways if you’re thinking of downloading remember that their motto is false & everything is heavily over moderated. It’s not fun & the colors are cute until you realize you’re not allowed to use it without getting flagged or forced into a fake emote corner. Everything users say is monitored & removed if the app doesn’t like it so… just a warning for new users. This is NOT an app for airing your feelings even though they say “no mood is too much”, spoiler!: not true. Everything on this app must be palatable including review or they get deleted. Also your suggestions aren’t taken into account, the team literally does not care what you want, typical of a company though. Use that knowledge how you will.

hey! thank you for sharing how you feel, even if it’s hard for us to read, we genuinely take it seriouslyjust to clarify a few things:→ we actually don’t have the ability to delete reviews ourselves, that’s fully managed by Apple. if your previous review included suggestions and didn’t go through, it might’ve been rejected automatically. we’d love to hear your feedback though, feel free to email me (liz@ambys.app) or message me in the app (@liz)→ yes, we do have a moderation system in place. it’s there to keep the space safe and help us avoid legal issues. but we totally get that sometimes it overreacts and flags posts it shouldn’t. that’s on us — and we’re actively working on reviewing these cases faster. just to clarify: we don’t delete posts, we blur them (but they stay visible to others)→ the hardest part to read was the idea that we don’t care about user feedback — because from our side, we really do. we try to read everything and shape updates based on what we hear. if we missed something you shared, that’s on us, and we’d honestly appreciate you sending it again. we’re still early and really want to get this right(thanks again for taking the time, we know leaving feedback like this isn’t easy)– Liz

Downloaded this app about 2 weeks ago and so far I’m liking it! Easy to use, and definitely not like other apps. It’s simple and doesn’t strain your eyesight like other apps. I love that it has this minimalist look to it and doesn’t make it impossible to reach a specific setting. Few bugs here and there but nothing worth making it obscenely difficult to use. The users in it make the space feel intimate and comfortable, almost like you’re catching up with an old friend. I look forward to seeing how the developers finish the app to its fullest. :)
