Description

The American Bahá’í magazine app is published by the National Spiritual Assembly of the Bahá’ís of the United States to share news—articles, pictures and videos, in six issues each year—of how Bahá’ís and their collaborators are building community and applying Bahá’í teachings to benefit humanity. In this pilot phase, this free app is available only in iPad format, and we welcome the support of users as it is gradually developed for multiple platforms.

After getting the free app on your iPad, issues are automatically delivered bi-monthly and are free to download.

This app conforms with the standards of the Bahá’í Faith for appropriateness of language and visual content, both in its own pages and in the online content directly linked from them.

App not working

About the American Baha’i app for the iPad. Downloaded this today. No matter how we opened the app up, vertical or horizontal, the app would open up to a grey page with a picture of a vertical and horizontal diagram, so we can’t read the magazine. I didn’t want to leave this comment on the app page for everyone to read.

Developer Response ,

Dear Reader,
I am sorry that you had a difficult time. I may be able to assist you in this. Have you checked whether or not you iPad's orientation setting is locked? This might be the problem since the app is designed to be read in the portrait orientation. If you need help determining this or how to change this setting, I can help if you wouldn't mind sending me an email to rdoering@usbnc.org

Warmly, Richard Doering at The American Baha'i
