Good…could be better

This App is pretty darn good. Works pretty much just like a normal web interface. My only pet peeve is the orientation of the App. On an iPad it HAS to be landscape mode. I never use my iPad that way and find it cumbersome and inconvenient. I wish the developers would add the option for portrait mode. Then I would give it 5 Stars.

Portfolio Performance Update Makes App Worse

As other users have already noted, the latest update to the app makes the process of extracting portfolio performance considerably less user friendly. It now takes more clicks to get less information. The previous version of this functionality was far from ideal (several implementations that offer superior customer experience are available in apps from competing providers), but at least I only had to tap once to see financial data for other periods.

Rate of return is ultimately the most important data point for a user of this service and now it’s much harder to calculate.

Integration of Ameriprise credit card into the app is not good

The integration of the Ameriprise credit card into this app feels like an afterthought. It requires you to go through a second section to even access the credit card information. Thus it doesn’t integrate well with other programs and apps.

The major flaw though is the inability to view any credit card transactions older than 3 months on the app. The transaction history only shows 3 months & you can’t view statements on the app (only via the website on a PC). You shouldn’t need a PC to view your credit card transactions.
