Amity launched the first global, real-time status checker in 2018, and King Solomon's Pass is still the standard in Grand Lodges around the world. Now, in Amity v3, it's built right into the app! You can:

• Show your QR code to another Mason for scanning
• Scan someone else's QR code to launch their Pass
• View your own pass and confirm your information
• Launch recognition status right from another Mason's Pass

Verifying your recognition status with another Mason has never been easier... no books necessary! Amity works in over 100 Grand Lodges around the world, and more are on the way.

CHECK IN TO LODGE
Amity's Masonic Passport lets you keep a record of your visits to any Lodge in the world. For each entry you can take notes to remind yourself of what happened, or launch the Lodge's profile to get more information. New in Amity v3: scan your Lodge's QR code to launch its profile and check in with just one tap!

VIEW STATISTICS

The Masonic Service Association's "Short Talk Bulletin" is one of Freemasonry's most famous publications. It's been published for almost 100 years, and Amity has partnered with the MSA to bring you a free, rotating version of the Short Talk Bulletin.

MANAGE YOUR LODGE'S DATA
For Brothers with Lodge Admin -- or Grand Lodge Admin -- permissions, Amity allows you to create and view meetings; send yourself attendance rosters; see user profiles, and more. And now, in Amity v3, you can send Summonses to any member of your Lodge that is registered with Amity!

Grand Lodge Admins also have access to Amity's Administrative Portal, where additional statistics are available and recognition status can be updated in real time.

Interesting

This is an easy and unique way to validate memberships on-the-fly. While
nothing replaces an examination, it still serves a purpose. I’m holding off on 5-stars until the time comes when this app allows for dual/plural membership options.

Make sure it works before you take out a full page ad…

Saw this in the first GLFL magazine this month and was genuinely excited to sign up. When I went to submit everything, the dreaded “Oops… Something went wrong. Please try again.” error came up. Most of these are user errors (let’s be honest), so I went back and checked all my entries to make sure I filled everything out correctly… but still the error. So I gave up and might “try again later” if I remember to.

So today’s lesson: bug check your apps before you take out a full page ad to solicit new users — especially when the feedback I can see from the last 2-3 years has some significant bug reports in them already.

Glitchy with information

I keep setting the dates I was initiated, passed, and raised. It will glitch and put the wrong dates. I also put in my birthday, and it glitches and puts the wrong date. There’s a lot of other bugs. The app is cool for media purposes but I can’t trust it at this point.

Brother, thanks for your review! I’m happy to say that we are aware of these bugs and have resolved them in v3.3.4, which will be released to our beta testers tomorrow (02 NOV 21) and should be live by the end of this week.
