Known Bugs That Haven’t Been Fixed in Eons
It’s a known error that when closing DM’s would likely bug the app to only see the profile settings upon closing any dm between people. Another problem is that it doesn’t share the same feature on PC where you can’t hide non viewers, but it’s not really necessary since you can just tap for full screen view of the shared content. One BIG problem on mobile, is that upon opening the app with the phone in a vertical state, entering a screenshare will not allow you to rotate the app to fill the screen. The only way to alleviate the issue so far is to open the app in a horizontal view, and enter anyone’s screenshare. Only issue is that once you leave it and enter a vertical view, it will not return to the horizontal view unless you repeat the same thing as before. It’s incredibly inconvenient and has been around for a LONG time without a fix. O
Rotation of the screen
Ive had AMO for so long that I have it on both pc and phone, I have 0 problems with PC as its very easy to use and overall does what it should. But the thing is with the phone some people have big hands and like to text sideways of things like that, for me though, I have big hands that I like to have my phone sideways so the buttons to type are easier to press and I have less of a problem. AMO however, does not allow this on phone, I have no idea why but it doesn't work. It did start doing that recently but like 2 minutes after it stopped. I was hoping that they would understand this about AMO and make it rotatable. If you have a problem and AMO rotates itself, just turn lock screen on, its not that hard to turn on and off and it helps a lot. I just hope someone at the AMO company sees this and fixes anything with AMO being sideways inste
Great app
I’ve had AMO for about three years now, and it does what it’s supposed to, but there are many features that are annoying to say the least. My main issue with AMO is that it seems like they don’t care about the mobile app as much as they should. There are many features that don’t work on mobile but should such as: editing the About Me (it doesn’t save on my mobile app), attaching files to messages, marking images with spoilers, managing purchases, and using certain owner/administrator features. Also, AMO does not offer a desktop app for iPads, which are more than capable of running a Mac version of It feels like iMessages and the text box feels so small when I write And they don’t offer an easy way to access the browser version on mobile devices.
