Hello everyone, I hope December is treating you well and that this upcoming Christmas is filled with warmth and joy. In this new version, you can create your own messages or upload existing videos from your phone, making Amori a central, intentional space for preserving your most special memories.

Hi everyone, it’s been a while! Our developer was away on vacation, and preparing the custom message feature took a bit of time. In this release, we’ve updated the flow for recording pre-prompted topics, and you can now upload existing videos from your album. If you have previously recorded videos you’d like to safeguard—like a moment of you and your child interacting—that’s now possible. In the next release, you’ll be able to record custom messages as well.

However, our team is currently working on creating custom topics, which will allow you to create messages of any kind. This gives you more flexibility and freedom in sharing what you wish.

One way to befriend our own mortality is to give it the time it deserves for reflection. As a mortality companion, Amori aims to gently encourage you to reflect on these things—so you can cherish the present moment and find peace in preparing for your own time. Give it a try—we’d love to hear your feedback! Also, you can now switch the camera view before you start creating your videos. We're continuing to improve this feature, so stay tuned.

You may have noticed that we changed our name to Amori—a combination of Amor (love) and Mori (death), conveying that the love we have for our loved ones persists beyond death. We’ve made small updates to the app here and there, but nothing major. However, we’re actively working on new ways to better guide you through the legacy-making process for our next launch. Audio recording will allow you to capture your words without the pressure of being on camera. Your voice is something your children will want to hear again and again.

Hi everyone, we've added a 3-second countdown to the video recording for a smoother start, along with a few other minor improvements. Also, DieWell is now available in Europe.

Hi! :) We've added a new timeline with prompts that are relevant for all ages. Even children in their 30s need support when they lose a parent. With our new prompts, you can now offer support to your adult child in their times of need. We've also updated our existing prompts and added new ones, so your child can feel your lasting presence even more.
