Finally! A simple player UI
I am appalled at the devolution of iTunes. It used to be my favorite player...back in 2003. But with every control trying to lead the user to paying $$$ forever to stream music I've already paid for drives me nuts. I have paid for at least 1200 CDs, ripped them, and carefully encoded them to different data rates to fit the music player de jour.
Now, I'm back to the question of what can I use to simply queue up and play whatever I'm in the mood for, without dealing with someone elses opinion inserting itself.
Ampado seems to do the job with no fuss on my INTEL MAC MINI from 2018...that I hope Apple will continue to support. Hopefully I will get to enjoy this solution for more than a few months...

Ill come back and adjust if needed. I use a sample browser (i make and spin music) so it does this job, but if theres room for improvement…

one file at a time?
Love that it plays OGG, unlike Apple Music, etc.. Don't like that it requires Rosetta.
Hate that it plays one single file at a time. No shuffle, etc.. When you hve 3000 music files, it's pretty much worthless other than as a sample player.
