Description
Want the ultimate mobile guitar and bass tone studio?
AmpliTube gives you a massive collection of virtual gear that you can use to practice, play and record with world-class tone anytime and anywhere.
Build your own guitar or bass rig with up to 6 stompbox FX, an amplifier and cabinet with mics. Plug your instrument into your iPad with one of IK's interfaces like iRig 2 or iRig HD 2, and get ready to be blown away.
AmpliTube CS gives you 7 stompbox effects, 3 amplifiers, 3 speaker cabinets and 2 mics, a free Loop Drummer Rock groove pack and a 2-track recorder.
You can expand this via a massive library of over 150 amps and stompboxes from top brands like Fender™, Ampeg®, Orange®, Mesa/Boogie®, and many more, or unlock the rigs of your heroes with gear from Slash, Dimebag Darrell, Jimi Hendrix, and Brian May.
Ready to hit the stage? AmpliTube’s Live Mode offers an optimized GUI for live use, with all the settings and controls you need in an easy-to-read format.
Control your virtual rig just like real gear: change presets, trigger FX, loops and more all right from your feet. AmpliTube pairs with iRig Stomp I/O for a powerful all-in-one stage rig, works wirelessly with iRig Blueboard, and supports other MIDI controllers as well.
AmpliTube also offers innovative ways to play, practice and record with an optional Looper, more drum track loops, a full 8-track recorder and DAW-style studio all available for in-app purchase.
Whether it’s at home, in the studio or on stage, AmpliTube is the dream rig you’ve always wanted, in a device that’s always with you!

Ratings and Reviews
Stop trying so hard to get me to buy stuff!
Look guys, you have an amazing app here, but the barrage of upselling makes me not even want to use it. I know you guys need to make your money, but the way you're going about it makes for a terrible user experience. The ad that displays when you load the app is annoying, but at least it gets out of your way reasonably quickly, but having the "record" and "studio" buttons in the bottom toolbar is about the most inconvenient thing I've ever had to put up with in an app. The toolbar buttons are small enough as it is, and shoving two more buttons in it for functions I don't even want make navigating the app a nightmare. The fact that I get a message asking me if I want to buy if I accidentally hit one of those buttons is even more offensive. If you're keeping count, that's 3 extra steps I have to go through every time I accidentally hit the "studio" option. One tap to get into it, one tap to cancel the purchase, and another tap to get back to the section I wanted to access to begin with.
I've already dropped quite a bit of cash on Amplitube purchases, and I would love to keep throwing money at you, but the upselling is so pushy that I really don't even want to mess with it anymore. I'm still giving you 3 stars because your emulation is great and you give me tons of options, but your UX is tragic. Seriously, this is freshman-year-design-school stuff, and there's really no excuse for it.
Buy Amplitube Max, pay twice to unlock
I purchased Amplitube Max from IK Multimedia’s web site and have unlocked all the amps, pedals, etc., and despite using the same account credentials to log in, none of these items are unlocked in the iOS version of the app.
What this effectively means is, if I want to use an effect from something I already paid to use, I have to purchase it again through the iOS app. If you want to only spend your money once, pick which platform you want to use … your computer, or your iOS device.
Does not work with Logic Pro for iPad
I have the full bundle, and once I got into Logic Pro, it does not work. Ik Multimedia you need to get your act together and make this a plug-in. I have a lot of money invested in this, and it’s worthless to record.
