Description
There's been a tweak to some elements to make things easier to use, and there's now Tips! So there's less confusion about using the app and the system overall.
We created nossaflex because there was nothing we could find on the App Store that ticked all of our boxes whilst looking good.
NOSSAFLEX is a naming convention that helps you know your settings as a glance.
NO = Number, SS = Shutter Speed, A = Aperture, FL = Focal Length, EX = Exposure.
This all lives in the filename of your images so you don't require a metadata reader to get this info out. Our app not only presents your data in this format but it also allows other information like roll names and film stocks used.
Our app has these current features for your endless use:
– A digital library for your cameras, lenses and rolls to live in.
– Custom-built light meter so you can get readings for all of your cameras.
– Ability to add in text descriptions for each photo.
– Take a reference photo on your phone so you know what the scene looked like when you captured it on your camera.
– The location of your shot can be tracked if you give the app permission.

What’s New
Version 2.1
We've updated the UI in small bursts across the app to improve functionality. You'll see these on the home page, light meter and individual camera pages.
We've fixed a host of bugs, with too many to name – so hopefully yours has now been splat.
Plus, tips! There are now tips that guide you through the app to help you set up and learn the system.

More than I could have asked for!
All I wanted was a simple log book to keep track of exposure. But this app right off the bat is easy to use and will allow me to meter and even look back on old rolls. I need to use it more but I’m so excited for my next roll!

Not just a logging app but a system
Using this app has helped me in many ways beyond just metering and logging info. It has helped streamline my process of organizing my analog photos. I highly recommend integrating NOSSAFLEX as a system into your film photography workflow. Thanks!!
Good Basic App.
Good simple app. No way to edit camera name once added. I wish there was a more direct link to capture the light meter data to the shot entry.

Thanks for the review! You can swipe left on the cameras to edit them. Works for most things in the app.
As for the light meter, you can access this directly from the home page and then choose which roll you’re metering.
