Description

Stop your explosion! Calm down right now! This tiny timer app may help your Anger Management.

Control your anger just right now, before blowing your lid. The Anger Management approach states that ’your very first 6 seconds’ is all the key to control your coming anger.

When you start to feel anger, irritation, or anxiety, launch this app immediately. Look at its ring and feel its tender haptics, and let you calm down during counting 6 seconds. Your anger will be released, and you will be free from troubles being caused by your anger. Make this habit when those feelings happen.

HealthKit Support:
If you allow this app to write Health Data, it records its usage time as Mindful Minutes data.

I know there's some bad ratings...

But the whole point of this is to be mindful that you were getting angry and just the fact that you were launching the application and taking a breather makes you more mindful.. The only thing is I would say add an internal counter

Beautiful and Helpful

Why the low reviews?! No idea. What any of us with overwhelming emotions need to do is give ourselves a moment, but how? This app helps: it gives us, literally, a moment, and uses the haptics of the applewatch to give us a sensory push outside our minds. Moreover, it says "ur OK" at the end. Do I like the bad grammar? No, I got angry at it, of course. And then I took a moment...lol... and realized that it is perfect, the simple, slightly enigmatic message forces me into a deeper, self-reflected comprehension of its meaning. Yes, the simple act of launching this app may be what does the trick. But if it weren't so elegant, you wouldn't want to launch it. I'm glad this app exists, and I believe that the low reviews are from those who don't know too much about mindfulness and therefore the problem this solves.

Two notes for the developer:
1. Why six seconds? It seems very fast and that rush isn't what I need when I am using the app. A slow ten seconds is what has been used from Marcus Aurelius up to the present for anger management.
2. Why complicate it with metrics? I don't want or need that from this app.

Useless app

Every time I tap on the screen the line will form a circle and say a “ur ok”. This app is very useless and a waste of time. I don’t recommend this app
