Description

Anthem Room Correction (ARC™) is a proprietary digital signal processing system that allows you to quickly and accurately optimize the performance of your audio equipment to better suit the unique parameters of your room. By listening to your room’s acoustic signature, ARC can tune your equipment to correct for the performance-robbing effects (reflections, resonances, standing waves, etc.) of the various surfaces and other obstacles in your room. You’ll actually hear the difference ARC makes.

Bulletwisdom ,

Worked first time no issues, but accurate?

Hooked up my new 1120 and had no issues getting the ARC app to sync and go through calibration functions. This was a must because like many we don’t have any Windows computers laying about. Two issues: I can’t figure out how to view the corrected graph for my room (probably isn’t in the app) and second, I’m not entirely sure my phones microphone is the most accuracy device in the world for this job. The kit didn’t come with an adapter to plug into my phone (an adapter would be a lot cheaper than the included tripod), and almost everyone has a smartphone. Maybe that’s what comes next. I’m looking forward to Genesis in April so I can rerun this with the calibrated microphone from my Mac.

Ok!

Worked fine once I had the home wired internet connected to receiver. Found receiver and ran all the tests for 5 positions. Can’t find anywhere whether it is supposed to be specific where each seating position in room should be or simply most often.

Works great for me. Used several times.

Since I don’t have a Windows PC, I borrowed a friends to use the ARC software initially. It worked great after we figured out some network issues. Now that the iOS app is available, it has worked great for me on the iPhone X. I just plug a live Ethernet cable into my MRX receiver, turn it on, and run the app. Had some issues originally (excesses background noise message) but these went away after I cleaned some debris from the Mic port on the iPhone. Probably not as accurate as using the calibrated mic, but seems to give me good results. Used after changing my sub and adding audio panels. Worked flawlessly each time.
