I spent two hours today trying to find someone who could assist me in accessing this app. This encompassed four department transfers, with results equaling still not being able to access this app.
My son is the only individual on this plan with anthem, however, it seems the anthem does not want to allow parents to be able to access digitally any of their children’s plans if the child is a minor. So if you are a parent who has your child individually insure, you unfortunately will have to deal with them on the phone and cannot access any information via the web or this app.
Suggestion: Have the account configurable with a responsible party a.k.a. the parent. We have permission to sign and pay for everything on this plan with the doctors and Anthem for their premium payment so why is this not sufficient to be able to access their plan information digitally?

4/6/18 - just got off the phone with tech support. Guess what...if you pay for one of their Medicare plans, you can’t use their apps. REALLY??? Why don’t you do folks a favor and just say that in your app description. A simple sentence would have saved me hours. HOWEVER, the tech never addressed the issue that I couldn’t even try to sign in. Once you get that bug fixed, you could just give a message that Medicare enrollees aren’t worth your time!
This piece of garbage won’t even get past the login :( All I get is that ‘working on something’ indicator...spinning round and round and round and round and round and round and round and round and round and round and round and round and round and round and round and round and round and round and round and round and round and round

After the update...
So it is June 29th, and I was not very happy to see all the negative reviews. Then I noticed that an update was released a day ago, so I took a chance and downloaded. My experience was exact opposite of previous reviews. Seem less log in, all my family listed, with current claims and status. Balances all correct. The improvements on the update must have really made a difference.
I would have offered 5 stars, but they only provide you a high level review of benefits. I was looking for granular details, of which they only provide a link to their website.
Overall, a time saver and glad to have this information at my fingertips (especially as I am currently sitting in the ER room of an in-network Hospital)
With Family Sharing set up, up to six family members can use this app.
