Sitter Brief Build a dated sitter brief with owner-written dog routines, contacts and departure preparation, then review and share it as a PDF or text. 1. Open My Dogs, then Sitter Brief. Try the clearly labeled weekend example or create a stay for one to five dogs. 2. Add feeding, walking and handling instructions, contacts and household notes. My Dogs can supply a name; health records are not copied automatically. Review the instructions for the selected stay dates. 3. Check departure preparation on this device, preview and share the PDF, or copy the brief for another stay. Copies reset review and preparation checks; editing a brief clears its review mark. Owner-written instructions, not veterinary advice, dose calculation, vaccination certification or verification of sitter actions. Stay length is 1–30 calendar days, with up to 50 local briefs. Shared files contain the entered notes and contacts and are static copies.

CARE WEEK (NEW) - Your dog's week, planned from their breed: brushing days from the coat's real grooming cadence, daily exercise blocks, mental-work sessions, and weigh-ins tuned to their life stage. - Check tasks off, build a streak, and watch the weekly consistency ring fill. - Vet visits due this week pin to the top; overdue ones follow you until handled. - Birthdays surface right on the board, and one tap shares the whole week with a partner or dog-sitter. - A "Today: 2 of 4 done" pill on every dog in My Dogs. Everything stays on your device, derived from the breed reference and your own logs - reminders, not veterinary advice.

New in 1.6: the My Dogs tab. Add a profile for each of your dogs, link it to a breed from the catalog, and Any Dog personalises the reference for your home: log weigh-ins on a trend chart plotted against the breed's typical weight range, keep a vaccination and vet-visit log with next-due reminders right in the app, and get a care plan built from your dog's breed, age, and logs. Everything stays on your device - no account, no network. Also fixes clipped labels on breed pages.

**Household Planner** — Save your My Household profile and Any Dog now turns your answers into a practical planning card: readiness score, best breed matches, exercise target, grooming cadence, training prep, and watch items. **Better Breed Fit Context** — The planner reuses the same scoring model as Breed Finder and the existing researched care builders, so the guidance stays consistent across Browse, Finder, breed detail, and Compare. **Submission polish** — Refreshed screenshots, App Store metadata, and support content now show the current app experience.

This update sharpens the interface: text now stays crisp and legible in Dark Mode across the breed cards and stats. Still fully on-device, no account, no ads.

What's New in Version 1.4 Metric and Imperial Units - Every breed profile now has a Metric / Imperial toggle directly above the measurements. Switch to Imperial to see heights in inches and weights in pounds. The preference is saved and applies everywhere - breed profiles, Compare, and the shared favorites export. You can also change it in the About sheet (tap the button in Browse). Coat Type Filter - The Filter & Sort sheet now includes a Coat Type picker. Filter the full breed list by Short, Curly, Double, Long, Wiry, Hairless, Corded, or any other coat type in the catalog. Coat type stacks freely with the existing size, group, section, and country filters. Compare Share - While comparing two or three breeds, a share button appears in the toolbar. Tap it to export the full side-by-side table as plain text, in whichever unit system you have active, via the standard iOS share sheet.

My Household — set your seven lifestyle answers once and Any Dog scores every breed for your home. A live "NN% fit" badge now appears beside every breed in Browse, at the top of each Breed Detail (tap it for a per-trait "Why this score" breakdown), and as a "Your fit" row in Compare, with a new "Best fit for me" sort/filter in Browse. The profile is editable any time from the new house button in Browse or a banner in the Finder, and lives entirely on-device. What's New in Version 1.2 Every breed now includes a Care Guide with three sections: Grooming — brushing frequency, bathing schedule, and a plain-English note on the right tool and technique for each coat type (daily for curly and silky coats, weekly for smooth and short, with hand-stripping notes for wire coats, and a special skin-care reminder for hairless breeds). Exercise — a daily exercise target (in minutes) derived from the breed's energy level, plus a mental stimulation note based on trainability. Health Watch — a short list of the well-documented health concerns associated with each FCI group, drawn from published veterinary studies.
