While it takes several steps for each individual font type, I am able to consistently install fonts. I wish batches of font variants were an option. Please also note the instructions. One needs to go into settings to install the package after this app puts it in the appropriate place. After some practice, I’m getting consistent results. Thank you for a free app to accomplish this.
Hello. We understand your comment very well. However, font installation is a complex matter that requires your case-specific consent as a user, and batch consent is not feasible—therefore, the installation as it stands is based on strict system requirements from Apple. Thank you for your understanding. Enjoy AnyFont. :) BTW: You can upload several fonts together as a ZIP file. After restart of AnyFont file will be unzipped and you are free to continue with installation processes.
Glad I watched the videos before deciding to purchase. The drag-and-drop made the process easier imo. Found this app when the one I had last used turned subs-only, so an extra thanks for keeping your app one-time pay instead of subscription.
Thank you very much for your detailed review! It is useful for every beginner to watch the tutorials on YouTube. Our channel is @AnyFont-iOS. Everyone who wants to easily install TTF and OTF fonts on iPhone and iPad, chooses AnyFont directly. Thank you for choosing AnyFont too! Have a good time!
I was unaware when I purchased this app that it would only work by adding configuration profiles to my device or I would never have bought it because those are a potentially major cybersecurity risk, but then even after I bit the bullet to try it (since I had already paid for it), the damned thing didn’t work. The fonts weee not available systemwide, and even where they were available they didn’t always work correctly. I’m gonna try to get my money back from this purchase.
Hello. Please do not mislead our users. This type of font installation is 100% Apple system compliant and has been in reliable use for over 10 years! It seems to us that you don't understand what our app does. This is not the app's fault. AnyFont has detailed information on what the app does and how to use it: 1. App description in the App Store - read it before you buy it. 2. AnyFont FAQ > tap in i icon top right > tap on help. 3. YouTube channel with tutorials @AnyFont-iOS , 4. The https://anyfont.app website with general information. And last but not least a support support@anyfont.app. BTW: For the sake of fairness, please refrain from making useless comments if you simply do not understand things or do not even make the slightest effort to understand them. Thanks.
I have questions and need help. I was told by Apple support I needed to contact Anyfont’s developer. Ive tried everything I could to find a email or a phone number, but i cant. I went to the developers website and went to contact. When I do this a error page pops up and says the requested page cant be found. I don't know where i can send my contact info or anything. I have been using AnyFont for years. I signed up for IOS 13 Beta and was able to go online to Dafont and find free fonts. I was then able to use AnyFont to take the free fonts and download them onto my iPhone and IPad. I was able to use all the fonts in my mail app. It was really easy and worked very well at least it worked very well until IOS 13 came out. Now out of all the fonts I have downloaded over the months only 1 works. I have erased and re-downloaded the fonts and I have also reset my phone and IPad to factory settings a couple of times. I just spoke to Apple support and they where unable to help, even though the mail app I use is Apples and they suggested I contact Anyfont’s developer. Here I am sad 🥺because all I want is to be able to use fun fonts but the only one I can use replaces the O’s with hearts which isn’t very professional ☹️ I still gave 5 stars because i have a sneaking suspicion this is not a Anyfont’s problem but a Apple problem but I really hope AnyFont’s developer can help me out or at least point me in a better direction then Apple did❤️
I would like to assist you, getting AnyFont to work. Please contact me through the contact button on the info screen within the app.
I bought the app in order to do one specific thing - install a single font for a work project. It is a pre-downloaded .ttf TrueType font from Microsoft, the Bahschrift font. The file I downloaded works fine on my friend’s MacBook, so the file is sound and it’s not a Windows/Apple thing. The app generates the profile and once I try to install it, it tells me that: “ This profile contains a font collection which is not supported. The font payload must contain exactly one font in TrueType or OpenType format.” However, it is definitely just one font (since all of the variations based on font weight and style are separate files and none of them will install). I can only surmise the AnyFont app needs some kind of patch or update. That said, I did use the + key in the app to search for a random font on daFont and that install did execute correctly and give me access to the font in Affinity Designer 2. So, I can’t say that the app doesn’t work at any level, but it should not matter where I source the font if it is in the .ttf format in order to install it. And yet it seems to…leaving me screwed for this delivery and paying for an app that doesn’t do the one thing I need it to and it claims to. =/Devs: if you actually read this, I’ll gladly update my review if you patch this problem or manage to convince me I’m doing something wrong.
Hello. This seems to be a very specific problem - and it seems to be related to the font file. Please send us the font file via email to support@anyfont.app as soon as possible. Only then can we check the facts! Thank you in advance!
I cannot figure out how to contact MIcrosoft. All the numbers direct you to websites of communities where questions and boards have posted. No one is stating exactly my issue. And I cannot speak to any live human on the phone numbers given. I’ve used AnyFont for years and it works terrific. All of my custom fonts show in Word and are usable/typable. I see the font in my document correct. The moment I try to export/print/send by email or anything it changes the font to Calibri. This happened a while ago maybe a year and a half ago and I gave up. No one cares about this. I have all these gorgeous fonts which I cannot use. I use all of this on my IPad Pro with no problems until that update. I suspect MS needs to make a small change to allow the custom fonts to pass through their software. BTW I can use them on Pages, but feel their product is inferior. Do you have any idea how I can get someone’s attention? I do not think it’s an Apple issue-your issue, but a MS issue. All the fonts work correctly on all other apps except Microsoft apps. Please advise or help if possible. Thank you.
Thank you for your loyalty and enthusiasm for the AnyFont app. >> If you send the document with your own font, it is of course necessary that this font is also installed on the computer on which it is received. Otherwise, Word always reverts to the standard font (Calibri). However, the font should at least be retained when the document is printed or exported as a PDF. >> If - as you write - it worked before and suddenly it no longer works, you actually have to contact Microsoft. To be honest, we don't have a direct line to Microsoft. But please try the official support website with its numerous options - it's not uncommon to also find support in the community area (also via the support page). Type into your browser for the MS Support page: support.microsoft.com and then scroll down to 'More support options'. We wish you good luck in fixing the problem with MS soon!
