As a person who has not worked out in awhile and didn’t know where to start, I was really able to get an idea how I can manage myself with the app. However, scheduling the days I want to workout on the app is weird because it says Sunday twice and then it appears differently on the calendar in app so it just looks weird and confusing. Not to mention when I put the times I plan to work out it also shows up differently on the calendar. Don’t get me wrong, it’ll take you step by step to do the workout you want, but the scheduling system is in need of fixing.
Ok, but needs updating
I used this app about 4 or 5 years ago. I don’t think it has changed at all and now is pretty outdated compared to other apps. It can do a lot but the things it should be great at like guiding me through a workout or helping me progress are just frustrating or nonexistent.
Suggestions A) Make it finger friendly. There are so many tiny buttons and boxes on the screen that I hit the wrong ones. It’s just clunky and hard to read after a set B) automate stuff!! Everything is manual, starting a rest timer, going to the next exercise, putting in weight for each set, I could go on. Other apps automate most of this... C) Make plans dynamic. They aren’t personalized at all and just end, why? And they don’t change based on my progress. Would also be nice to have some suggestions on other exercises if the equipment is busy or isn’t in the gym D) speaking of progress, how do I see my progress???
Good app but needs landscape view on the iPad
This app is great for receiving the workout that your anytime fitness trainer provides to you. It syncs with the anytime fitness app and pulls those workouts right in so you can schedule them onto the App’s calendar and which you can export to the Calendar on your Apple devices.
One noticeably lacking feature in this workout app is the ability for the app to do landscape view. This is particularly important on the iPad. The developers should consider adding this feature as soon as possible.
