What is the AORE Campus Challenge?
The AORE Campus Challenge is about school communities and student bodies joining together to see who can get the most people outside and active. It's a Mother Nature meets March Madness-style competition where schools from across the country will go head-to-head over four weeks. The school that gets the most people outdoors will win the National Outdoor Championship. We will also be recognizing the Outsider of the Year, the individual across all schools who logs the most outdoor activities, and the Most Outdoorsy Person, the individual on each campus that logs the most outdoor activities for their school.

This app makes you want to go OUTSIDE!
There could be an easier way to motivate college students to enjoy the great outdoors. Outdoor Nation provides scholars a simple platform on which to log activities and win points both individually and for their school. Campuses compete for the title of the most outdoorsy college! I would highly recommend this app to a friend because I already have to more than one.
Awful rules- Selfie Challenge?
Rule changes this year make it much less user friendly to document activities- only pics of feet and selfies suffice. No GPS uploads, no photos of dogs, bikes, kayaks or anything that indicates what you're actually doing outside. A selfie in front of a tree proves you're active but a shot of your bike out on a trail or of your dog walking with you doesn't. And yet at least half of the photos are of things that shouldn't count according to their rules- are they all being rejected 24hrs later or does someone need to flag it? The rules make it more worthwhile to sit and flag people's activities than to go out and exercise. Should be the Outdoor Social Media Selfie Challenge. Selfies are the focus, not outdoor activities. I'll just go back to enjoying the outdoors and forget this lame app. Zero stars for making an app that prioritizes selfies over outdoor activity.
The app has so many new features this year. Very user friendly and well designed. Love the new capabilities of liking and sharing photos. I can't wait to see how many people sign up, get outside, and compete.
