Overall great app

I’ve been using Apollo AI for a little while now, and it’s honestly a pretty good app. It does exactly what it says lets you connect to services like OpenRouter and chat with different AI models right from your phone. The interface is clean, it feels smooth to use, and setup was straightforward. It’s nice not being tied to just one provider.
What I like most is that it keeps things simple. You pick your model, type in your prompt, and go. If you’re into experimenting with different AIs or just want a reliable way to chat with one on your phone, it definitely gets the job done.
Only real issue I’ve run into is with the ElevenLabs voice API specifically, the voice list doesn’t seem to load all your voices or custom ones. There’s a “tap to reload” button, but tapping it doesn’t really do anything. Not a dealbreaker, just a little annoying if you’re trying to use specific voices.
Overall, good app. Nothing too fancy, but it works well and I’ve been enjoying it.

FANTASTIC!!!!!! (And a few requests)

Hi Aaron, thank you for making such a wonderful app. It gives me peace of mind that I can have this tech running locally on my machine without having to use a data farming web app. While I have this app on my iPhone and iPad, I find myself using it most on my MacBook when I am on the go and without a wifi connection (or, when ever I would like some ACTUAL privacy!!)
With that said, I have a few requests as it relates to the Mac version of this app (which I know is an iPad app that has been augmented to run on a Mac - THANK YOU FOR MAKING THAT POSSIBLE BY THE WAY!!)
request 1: is there any way you could add a setting to allow for the text size to be increased? it seems to be 7pt or 8pt on my Mac screen.
Request 2: sometimes when I typing sloppily and I have to use a lot of backspaces, something happens where the backspace lags and will delete some text a few seconds after I start typing words again - I have no idea how/why that happens, and it may have nothing to do with your awesome app at all.

Hey, thanks for the feedback. There’s a Theme menu in the settings that might make things better. There’s definitely a lot to optimize still on macOS though. We will make some macOS improvements soon.

Working well so far

I have tried a couple other AI apps that run directly on this iPhone and this one seems to be the most glitch free so far. I like how the AI (at least the model I downloaded) gives its extensive thought processes before it directly answers my question! All AI models have a political bias as well as a knowledge cut off date, which means that they may not be great for answering questions about current events, but for everything else, it's like having an expert in your pocket! this is great for students, business people and anyone fascinated by AI and who wants to interact with it without having to worry about limits or a monthly fee. Keep in mind, however, that local AI models can make mistakes that cloud-based models may not. For example, I asked who the 1970s politician Spiro T Agnew was and it thought "she" was a developer of the DeepSeek language model!
