Needs UX improvement

The driving dashboard is nice, but the battery life remaining is very small - this is arguably a very important piece of information to see (besides speed).

Additionally having the current “gear” as a large integer on the dashboard would be nice too, since the app doesn’t clearly indicate which gear you’re in (or if you accidentally switch gears without realizing it).

Changing your birthday creates a weird infinite loop of feedback for Cancel/Save.

The wording of the Regenerative Breaking selector is a bit unclear, talking about the “responsiveness” of the scooter but it seems illogical.

The navigation feature is fine, but it doesn’t seem to automatically recalculate your route if you deviate from it.

Otherwise, it’s a nice app and works well for everything else!

A good start, needs work though.

I just got my Apollo Air Pro and love it. But this app seems incomplete. I have an iPhone 11. App connects fine, and the main functions work great, can set “gear” or speed, enable cruise control. What doesn’t work though is firmware updates. It shows an update is ready, I click it, get a spin y button then it just goes back to the button like nothing happened. Adjusting the brake power and acceleration slider seem like they work, but going back to that screen they go back to the center. Also the stats page in the app never updates. I’ve ridden the scooter twice now since I got it, both times I’ve recorded the ride but the ride history and statistics under “Activity” are blank.

I feel like Apollo is going for an app Similar to Segway but far less creepy. It looks and feels great. I love the layout but the app just feels incomplete. I’m sure getting this app made has been expensive. It’s so close to being great, but it’s not there yet. Apollo has set its own bar high with its impressive scooter lineup. My Air Pro is half a step up from their entry level model and it’s so amazing. I can only engine what their higher end models are like to ride. My air is so much better than my former Ninebot ES3 or Horizon.

Please keep up the great work Apollo. I’m a new customer and don’t regret my purchase. Wild love to see this app reach its potential.

Where are the maps?

I like the app for a speedometer and a dash duplicator. As well as the ability to get into the settings and lock the scooter, and some of the other features. Unfortunately, one of the main or coolest features would be able to slide down the odometer and speedometer page and see you on a map to be able to track where you’re going, and to be able to head to a destination. I thought this would be the coolest feature having seen examples of it and all the videos from Apollo. But of course, with my brand new Apollo city 2022 on the map freshly downloaded an updated I see a blue dot on a black screen. Apollo, either have your map fixed or allow the app to interface with better map programs like Google maps, even Apple Maps as garbage, as it is, at least shows up. For such an expensive and well-made scooter,I expected the app to have had at least as much effort put into it.
