I really like this app, but it has one major issue: the text size. The app allows you to change text size, but the size is not standardized for all books and any change you make affects all books. In other words: if you have two books, Book A (regular size) and Book B (small size), and you enlargement Book B, Book A will also get larger. It’s really annoying to get a bunch of books of varying text size.

I must say, this is a digital library, therefore it meets my expectations. It has a good variety of books, and I like how there’s audiobooks, too, and sampling books is a great addition to this. My only complaint is that (at least to my knowledge and searching) there isn’t a way to change the background or text color of books. Something nice like pageant in Libby (another book and audiobook app) background and black text would be great. But we’re stuck with a black background and white text.

LISTEN. One of my favorite things about using the Books app is taking advantage of the seamless integration of Apple Intelligence. Got a word you don’t understand? Highlight it and use Apple Intelligence to look it up. You can do incredible smart search and save experiences with your reading and this is why I am hooked on this app. Truly the whole reading experience is miles ahead of Kindle and other e-books because of native Apple technology that makes reading so much smarter!

I love Apple Books. It is my preferred app for years now. I have various books and audiobooks in my library. However, I was thinking that Apple Books should make a rewards system for recurring customers. I envision something similar to chick fil a or chipotle. If you purchase enough books or audiobooks you get to be a preferred customer with access to early publications or discounts on services. I think this would be a great incentive for customers to stick with Apple Books. Thanks!

I really love the clean and convenient interface. However, I have a suggestion for the note feature: Could you make notes open in a small pop-up window instead of a full page? Most notes are short, and a full-screen view is unnecessary. It would be even better if the notes could appear directly on the page in a smaller font. This would make reading and referencing much smoother!

The app mostly works until you start buying lots of books and then either due to a system error or technical problem some books will not go into the same series even though they are part of it or some books rights changed and the version you bought stops showing up with the rest of the books series so now you have 10 books in a series but 5 of those books so up as individual books
