The Apple Store app provides a more personal way to shop for the latest Apple products and accessories. Get recommendations based on the Apple products you already own. Find out which accessories are compatible with your devices. Easily upgrade to a new iPhone from your current one. Keep track of your orders wherever you go. And sign up for hands-on sessions in store. You can even use Apple Pay to check out from your iPhone when you visit a participating Apple Store.
Note that the Apple Store app and certain features are available only in select countries.
How your data is used
To confirm compatibility and recommend products, the app will access both the services and the name, model, and part number of devices linked to your Apple ID. To turn off this feature, go to Account > Settings > My Devices and Services.

I love it, but please allow a way to add gift cards from Wallet.
I love this app, buying items by scanning with my phone and not having to wait in line is incredible. The only bad thing about this app is there’s no way of linking a gift card in your wallet with the app (even two Apple employees at the store confirmed it).
In wallet, a gift card has an Apple Store icon but clicking it does nothing but open the Apple Store app. It doesn't apply the gift card to the purchase.
Let see where do I begin. At 2am I order a power adapter and 2 foot cord for an IPhone 11. I needed it so I order it from the Store on 5th Ave. it left specific instructions as to when I would be able to pick it up. I choose the time frame 3:45am-4:00am. It stated that it wouldn’t be available any earlier. So I waited until 3:45am. I presented my ID and to my Surprise it wasn’t ready. I believe I was greeted by a Manager who stated that the Online Dept was different from the Store. If I wanted to Pick it up I was instructed to Cancel the order. She passed me off to another associate who Processed my order. First She didn’t help me Cancel the order and it’s 4:33am and it still isn’t ready. Second what happened to Good Quality Customer Service.? Why couldn’t This Apple Store Hand me my items since I had my online receipt ? That’s not an Option? You really lack empathy and Good Customer Service. Makes me wonder what your Mission Statement is? Flagship Store needs better Customer Service.
Do not pay for extra shipping
App works great but be careful with expedited shipping charges. When you place an order please do not pay for expedited shipping because the app promises certain dates it simply does not meet. After inquiring Apple customer support they were not able to refund the extra expedited shipping charges. I have several iPhones, iPad, Mac Air, Mac Book pro, Apple Watches, Several Apple TVs and I just placed an order for more items that did not arrive on time and the best customer support can do is say “Sorry, better luck next time”. I paid an extra $8 for shipping that greedy apple did not deliver and after being a loyal customer the best they can do is say sorry. Learn my lesson, I share so it does not happen to anyone else.
