Description
The AQUA-LIT app is a toolbox of solutions, measures and ideas to tackle marine litter at sea. It also has information on which ports in Europe have facilities for receiving waste, and the different types of funding opportunities to implement marine litter management projects at different levels. Do you have an innovative solution that would like to include here? We also have the link for you to contribute to this toolbox that was built by aquaculture stakeholders from across Europe, and the links to the full version of the toolbox which includes furthermore action plans for outermost regions, policy recommendations to help the marine litter problem in the EU sea basins, and a highly-visual marine litter inventory to help you identify the marine litter coming from aquaculture activities. The AQUA-LIT app is product of the AQUA-LIT project, an EMFF co-funded project.
