AR Fast Area Measurement 4+

Fast Area Measurement uses Augmented Reality to measure the area and perimeter of any space. Just move, placing markers as you go; the app will take care of the rest.

Fast Area Measurement lets you measure the area and perimeter of any space, simply by walking around it, placing markers as you go. It's suitable for outdoor and indoor use, so it's the ideal app for gardeners, DIY enthusiasts, in fact anybody who needs to make quick and accurate area measurements.

Fast Area Management uses ARKit (Augmented Reality) technology. Provided adequate lighting and a steady display, the app will place a transparent grid over the real world view visible through your device's camera. The grid expands as the device moves and by tapping the screen you place markers on the grid. These markers remain in place as you move your device's camera around so, by connecting successive markers, detailed paths can be created and accurate measurements can be made.

It's easy to add and remove markers from the scene. With one click of a button, you join the last marker to the first so as to automatically complete the path. You can then review the area, perimeter and individual line length measurements and also save the completed path.

- Metric or Imperial measurements.
- Intersecting (crossing) lines are automatically detected and a warning is displayed.
- Completed measurements can be saved.
- Screenshots of completed patterns can be saved to the device's Photo Library.
- A CSV file containing the line lengths and the coordinates of each coordinate can be emailed from the app.
- The size and pattern of the markers and the colour of the grid can be customised.
