When support is needed, customers and employees can be guided remotely by a specialist with an AR-videocall using the mobile app. The video image of the issue is transmitted to a specialist, who can guide the user with persistent AR cues.
This saves travel, time and costs and increases your first solution rate - as the knowledge is directly on site if required!

When moving the smartphone, the surrounding is automatically scanned by the integrated camera. At the same time the video-image of the mobile user is transmitted to the expert. During the call virtual cues can be superimposed onto the video-transmission for highlighting objects. These visual indications are virtually attached to the marked object.
When the smartphone moves around the object, the cues remain stationary at their position and can be seen in the video transmission. The mobile device can be moved freely in space. Both mobile user and expert can use arrows to virtually point at objects. In addition, drawing on the video stream enables versatile visual guidance.

There is no need to purchase expensive hardware, a smartphone or tablet is sufficient. Due to the complex room recognition, iPhone 8 and later, iPad Pro, iPad Air (2019) and iPad mini (2019) are supported; the latest iOS version is recommended.

Calls can only be made between the mobile and the desktop application, a call between two mobile applications is not possible.
The app requires access to the microphone, camera and location to enable AR-videocalls. To receive calls while the app is closed, push notification can be activated optionally.
