How does it work?
Create an account. Download the ArmorVax mobile app and create an account for yourself and if you want, you can also include other family members.
Select, schedule, confirm. Select a provider, select the vaccination you need, and schedule an appointment. Once the appointment has been scheduled you’ll receive confirmation with the time and location details.
Check-in and consent. Within the app you’ll complete the pre-screening and check-in process that you would typically do on-site with the provider. You’ll
Arrive, verify, vaccinate. Your medical provider will receive notification you have arrived, verify your identity and scan your personalized ArmorVax QR Code. Your vaccination will be administered and you’ll follow additional instructions from your provider.
Real-time records. Your immunization records will be available within your ArmorVax account showing the date of immunization, type, lot number, and location. At any time you can open the app to see your vaccination history.

Scheduled my mother and various other family members for first and second vaccines. Today I get an email from ArmorVax with my mother’s name saying she has an appointment at a second location three hours away on a different day. The appointment I scheduled for her is still listed. For Pfizer when she’s Moderna. We never scheduled this second appointment. My concerns are for privacy and safety of anyone using this app. How did someone get my email and my mother’s name to set up a second appointment when she’s already scheduled for her legit appointment? This is dangerous and I have calls into our local health department to see just why this happened. I took screen shots of our appointments in case I find out someone is accessing my account and starts messing around with our information. Why don’t you have a red flag system that would have prevented this from happening? I was able to cancel the appointment we didn’t make on the app so it’s gone. I want to know how come someone made a second appointment in my mother’s name three hours away in another county for a totally different vaccine?
Insurance info not working
Primary insurance is Medicare there is no policy number or group number for Medicare. Secondary insurance is Medical Mutual they do not provide policy number only group number. You need to fix this immediately. Your Primary Insurance page will not let you skip this and go one to the next page. No everyone has one one insurance company.
The reply that they added a selection to skip the insurance information does not resolve the main issue. The insurance selection page was not updated to deal with Medicare as the primary insurance. Medicare does not have policy numbers or group numbers. The supplemental insurance also does not provide policy numbers. Additionally there is no way to contact the software developers. The only contact on the AmorVax web site is for marketing contact. I am not interested in their marketing. Very disappointed with the company web site as they seem to only be interested in selling this product and not fixing it.

Hi walt300! Thanks for your feedback! We have heard from others with this same issue and are adding an option for users to select No or Skip when asked for health insurance. If you continue to have problems with this section, contact firstname.lastname@example.org and add REVIEW to the subject line.
Required Info Field Not Working
In addition to app not working during registration process; the “required” info should NOT be required to register just to locate a vaccine. Your requires a physical address to mail a claim firm; my company doesn’t provide that on the back of the card. I called them and they said they would talk to the medical provider to explain how to submit electronic version. So, your app is not correct and aborts the registration process if you don’t add all of this data not even required! I’m checking to see if gathering that data is even legal by a third party vendor? I’ve deleted everything to do with this app and advising our State Attorney General Office regarding concern with this app/site link. Doesn’t work and questionable....
