Arrow Crosswords is a competitive, turn-based puzzle where players team up to solve the crossword, aiming to outscore each other. This game reinvents the classic crossword format, inspired by Scandinavian design, featuring clues placed directly in the squares, including some pictoral hints.
- At the beginning of each turn, each player receives 5 letters and has 60 seconds to strategically place these tiles on the board.
- Points are awarded for accurately placing letters, forming complete words, using all five letters in a turn, and securing special bonus points tiles.
- Consideration is key when deciding to use specific letters—sometimes, it might be wise to hold onto a pivotal letter for future moves!
Arrow Crosswords is a fresh take on word games, sure to appeal to crossword aficionados, Scrabble enthusiasts, and Words with Friends veterans alike, offering a novel and engaging gameplay experience.

Good game but way too many ads
This is a fun game but it takes forever to get through one game because after every turn for each person there is at least one long ad, if not two or 3. Also, the games advertised are games depicting horrible things, like domestic violence and homeless Mothers and children struggling to survive. I don’t want to see that over and over again. Please reduce the amount of ads and find some less offensive games to advertise.
Please use correct grammar usage on Reward Wheel!
If you say “spin again” it means another spin not you just skipped to try to try for a different outcome that would be a Re-spin. Especially if I have to watch a video to earn it. Right out the gate I already dislike the reward system. I thought I was going to get a second spin when you asked for me if I would like to spend again, not lose the bigger prize I just received for a smaller one and then have to watch two videos instead of one. This is a very first training game and no instructions on exactly how to play the game. I suppose you’re just supposed to figure it out as you go not everybody knows how to play crosswords maybe I should suggest a few pop-ups to explain what it is that is going on and how to use the board..
Good but unplayable: Ad time > game time
The actual game is quite fun, though pretty easy. The problem is the amount of ads. They rotate 2-3 as that come up at essentially every possible moment: after a round. In order to proceed to the next ANYTHING. A small prize is offered after every round, and it looks like you're given a choice to watch an ad for it or forego the prize... but guess what happens when you say no? Yup an ad. 10 ads in less than 10 minutes is typical for me.
Apparently they recently added an option to pay for an ad-free experience, but it's $5.99 for 3 days. Seriously! I don't understand the 4.9 reviews. I gave it 3 stars only because the actual game is enjoyable, though I think I'm done trying to play it here. A shame, really.
