Ratings and Reviews
I really like the app and the work of the photographers and artists who are represented. The work is phenomenal. However in writing this, I was unapproved to be a part of it. My gut feeling is that there are connection based reasons and it’s all about who you know, what you’ve been in, etc. I’ve been published online and my work is strong enough to be here.
Photography is highly subjective and I have sent work into photography contests; seeing the winners, it’s laughable who can win.
I’m afraid this app is no different.
Elitism. Only accepting applications that fit their style.
I thought this was supposed to be an app for people within the photography/modeling industry to network, but it seems like the content of the app and their providers are limited to a very specific “look.”
I’m a photographer and i intended on using this app as a possible Instagram alternative and to extend my network of models that I could work with in my area. While submitting my application I chose 6 different photos I did on two separate portrait photoshoots with two professional models. Within a couple of hours of submitting the application I received an email stating that my application was denied because the editors felt my photos were not what they wanted for in their “collection.”
And that’s exactly what is wrong with this app. It’s NOT a networking tool it’s simply a feature page. All of the photos featured have a specific high fashion studio style look to them. I’m guessing my photos were denied because they were shot outdoors and use natural light? Either way it’s clear that if you don’t fit in with their look, you won’t be able to utilize the app in anyway.
Don’t waste your time.

Your application was declined because it didn’t meet some of our submission requirements. With a basic account you still have an access to most of our features including search and messages. Please see our app description for additional details.
Not what it claims
Everything everyone is saying here is correct. I’m a fine arts photographer and I would not at all consider this a creative platform for professional networking in the Arts. This app and the portfolios within lack creativity as it claims to market it. The work is all generic, think ‘Urban Outfitters does Art.’ Absolutely limiting in their creative freedoms and mundane in content. This IS the app for you if you define IG photos as art. Also, something tells me being White is a part of the application? Of course you’ll write back with “absolutely not” but the content reflects it and I don’t feel the need to repeat that fact. Garbage, don’t market yourself as an art app or even in relation to art.
