Very convenient to have this on the device unfortunately might have to download it onto my tablet because a lot of times when the test question has a wiring diagram, the wiring diagram will disappear and you have to just kind of guess on the question wish the update would have fix that problem and also I wish this had a two-year update renewal instead of only a one year..

Thank you for the great review. Illustrations can be clicked on to zoom in and out using the pinch and squeeze technique. If you scroll up and down on your mobile device, you will be able to see the illustration as many times as needed.

It’s a good concept and works well. I don’t like the fact that because I started late it is coming down the wire to maintain my certification. My certs expire 12/31 and it’s September and I’m sitting at 6/8 on all but one it’s 5/8. Because my job REQUIRES current ase certs it would be nice if you were given small extensions as long as you are answering. Otherwise I may just get my 5 year certs and cancel app.

Also I understand the idea of quizzing on NEWER technology but the test questions should not be what’s “introducing” us to them. That is what training is for. The tests should test our knowledge on what is currently being worked on in most auto repair shops and the general understanding of the systems being tested on. Dealerships give training and testing along with different levels on their new tech and systems because they will see them well before the independent side. ASE to me is testing and certification on the independent side and should not start to move away from that.

great idea with 1 MAJOR FLAW. no way to update your payment info either in the app over the phone or by logging into your my ase account online until it’s too late. my card info was on file and set to auto renew but i needed to change my payment info due to credit card fraud and couldn’t. i even called ase and was told i had to let the subscription expire then i could upload new credit card info. that’s what i did. this caused me to lose all my progress in the app and all the unanswered questions that i was going to go through. i had multiple tests that i only had to answer 2 more questions to get my 1 year extension. i had almost 100 unanswered questions. all lost cause ase didn’t provide me a way to update my card info.
