Description
Atoms To Go is your go to source for chemical and nuclear data on the elements, much like a periodic table of the elements. In addition to the usual information found in such programs, it also contains a wealth of nuclear information on each isotope, including half life, decay mode, and daughter products.
Data is displayed for the following physical properties:
Density
Heat of Vaporization
Heat of Fusion
Specific Heat
Thermal Conductivity
Linear Expansion Coefficient
Melting Point
Boiling Point
Atomic Radius
Covalent Radius
Bulk, Shear, Young's Modulus
Poisson Ratio
Brinell, Mohs, and Vickers hardness data
Magnetic Susceptibility
Electrical Resistivity
Electron Affinity
Electric Dipole Polarizability
State (gas, liquid, solid)
Photoelectric Work Function
Electronegativity
Crystal Structure
Abundance in Earth's Crust
Abundance in Earth's Sea
Abundance in Earth's Atmosphere
Abundance in Solar System
Number of Isotopes
Number of Naturally Occuring Isotopes
Number of Stable Isotopes
Photon Interactions
Magnetic Dipole Moment
Electric Quadrupole Moment
Nuclear Spin
For each isotope, the following information is available:
Decay mode
Half life
Abundance
Atomic mass
Mass excess
Binding energy
Q value
Nuclear spin
Magnetic moment
Electric moment
Alpha radiation energy
Beta radiation energy
Electron capture radiation energy
Number of protons
Number of neutrons
Daughter produce

Ratings and Reviews
Most comprehensive chemical data I’ve ever seen.
This app is extraordinary. Contains information on every element and their isotopes. I work in the nuclear industry and I find it indispensable. Only needs update for recently discovered and named elements. The Mac app is even better.
Great App - Very Handy
I used an app on my cell phone (Windows Mobile) that had considerably less information on each element. This has a lot of information in it.
Not a periodic table
This "app" is just a list of elements sorted by their names. There is no attempt to display and allow access to the element data from a periodic table, let alone from a list sorting them by their atomic number (which would be the second best way.) An app should really allow searching of all the data to take advantage of the whole point of the computer in a tablet.
Also, while there is lots of data, there doesn't seem to be any way to copy and paste those values to other apps. A simple text document with this info would ironically be more useful.
