Audio Book is a powerful and practical macOS document-to-audio application, which enables you to convert various types of document file to audio files(aiff, mp3 and m4b format). The application comes with support for over 38 different languages and 50 different voices, including Siri voice.

Working with AudioBook is a breeze: just import PDF, RTF, TXT, HTML, EPUB documents into AudioBook, select the language and voice, and then click on the Convert button. Batch-conversion is supported in Audio Book, and you can also convert individual documents via the contextual menu or through the Convert button.

Wasted my money

Doesn’t seem to do anything. I import the files okay, but converting just hangs.

Edit: After various trials, I have been able to make some audiobook files. Converting a TXT file seems to hang, but I have had luck off-and-on with converting RTF and EPUB files (sometimes they work and sometimes they don’t). I have only been able to get AIFF files though, not MP3. Also, the support form on the developers‘ site also seems to hang. I have emailed them, so let’s see what I hear.
