With Audio Sauce you can easily add audio effect “flavor” to your videos and save them or share them to social media quickly, while the inspiration is still fresh.

Audio Sauce is designed with a simple, artist-friendly interface that encourages the user to feel like they are at play – but there is plenty of functionality underneath the hood. With its suite of essential effects you can create results that run the gamut from tasteful polish to wildly experimental.

- Load any video from your device’s media library or record a new video.

Then:
- Boost the volume of your video with an output limiter
- Add delay by tapping for tempo then choosing the rhythmic pattern you want, including regular, triplet and dotted half, quarter and eighth note divisions
- Add reverb by choosing from one of four styles ranging in size from medium room to cathedral
- Add “dirt” by choosing one of two modes, “mild” or “hot”, for anything from subtle tape saturation to fully obliterated distortion
- Use the EQ module’s bandpass filter to roll off unwanted high or low frequencies or boost/subtract with an EQ shelf
- Play with the pitch shifter and blend in any interval (including octaves, fourths and major and minor seconds, thirds, fifths, sixths and sevenths)

When you’re happy with how your video sounds, save it to your device or share it directly to social media. The ability to save and share your video can be unlocked with a one-time purchase.

Cool app

okay I like it but I didn't know it costed money to save the video since the app was free and it was my fault for not really paying attention but I accidentally bought it so whoops, it works really well though I just wish there was more of a warning or something before bc I just saw the thumbprint thing and I did it but then realized right as I put my thumb on the home button that it was asking for money. I'm
too stupid to figure out how to get my money back or something so i'm just gonna use this app a lot and get my use out of it. Cool app tho, it was kind of my fault

Decent app, but misleading about purchase.

I saw in another review that they say they aren't trying to trick anyone. While it does say "In app purchases", most people assume it means it's free with limitations. There are no free features available other than "try before you buy". You cannot save any kind of video edit. You really should just state that before letting people use your app or just straight up state your price in the app store. The effects are decent, but I didn't purchase. I just wanted something quick to use, when I'm not making real recordings.

Hi there. We're not trying to trick anyone. We don't ask you to give us your credit card info and tell you to remember to cancel by a certain date, secretly hoping you'll forget to, the way some companies do. We use none of the manipulative tactics that many companies use to fool you out of a few bucks.

Our approach is straightforward, simple and risk-free: try it out. If you like the way it makes your video sound so much that you want to keep the results, then you can buy it for a low, one-time price of about 4 bucks.

"In app purchases" is Apple's terminology. We can't control that. What we can control is what is in our app description, which clearly states that saving or sharing a file is unlocked with a one-time purchase.

Keep in mind, your assumption that the app should offer free functionality is also something we can't control, as is the expectation that developers should be giving you free tools.

Cool app but it should be set in the AppStore as not a free app

It is a cool audio editor, a bit lacking but it works. I do wish that it was more clearly stated that it costed money before I edited a video, but that’s likely my fault. I get it costs money but why not just make the app itself cost money so I know how much I’m paying?

Thank you for your feedback. We tell you in the onboarding menu that the ability to save and share can be unlocked with a one-time purchase. We also say this in the app's description on the App store as well as on our web site. We're not trying to trick anyone. We designed everything about our app's user experience to match our own preferences. We prefer to try something before buying.
