Description
AudioWrangler tames one of macOS's most annoying habits: switching to a random audio device upon wake.
Select your favorite audio devices (such as your AirPods or external speakers), and move them to the top of the priority list. AudioWrangler will automatically select the first audio device in that list that is connected, and ensure it remains the default speakers/microphone. By changing the order of devices in the list, you can ensure that your audio configuration is always correct, whether you're at home, in the office, or on the go! Additionally, by moving devices you never want to use below your Mac's built-in microphone/speakers, you ensure that they won't be selected. (Helpful for Thunderbolt docks and monitor speakers.)

Exactly what I've been looking for!
I use USB audio devices with XLR microphones for recording voiceover and daily meetings, but my selected audio input gets overrided by MacOS whenever I connect earbuds (I only wanted to listen!).
This app solves that issue. I can set the priority for each device, and no matter what I connect, the right devices are selected. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
It's barely been a week so far but the app seems to be stable, runs without needing attention, and the interface is simple and easy to set up.
I've needed this for so long, and it's well worth the low price. Highly recommended!
The only (obviously very minor) issue I've encountered is that AirPods seem to accidentally trigger constant notification on a secondary non-active computer; the computer they're currently being used with is fine (no issues), but if they're shadow-pairing to a second laptop (a feature that allows a second device to interupt with audio if the user starts playing a video over there) also with AudioWrangler running on that machine, it may trigger constant notifications (I think the AirPods are signalling availability to that computer and AudioWrangler detects it as connected, but then it's not actually connected and AudioWrangler switches back to the original inputs, but then the AirPods signal availability...and it just loops constantly, so if notifications are turned on, it's a constant popup!).

If you have a Yeti microphone and a mac that constantly tries to send your audio output to the "speaker" / headphone jack on the Yeti, this little app will solve your woes.
I typically hate app notifications, but it's also super handy to see the audio selections change.

Great App - But
One small problem. I tried to click on "App Support" and "Report a Problem" and neither worked for me in the App Store.
It does not handle 2 devices with the exact same name. I have 2 monitors that implement HDMI audio. I need to select one, and ignore the other.
