Description

Before you travel to Australia, you should complete the Australia Digital Passenger Declaration (Australia DPD) within 72 hours before your departure. You will need to provide your:

• Flight details
• Contact details in Australia
• Evidence of COVID-19 vaccination
• Quarantine requirements
• Health status

This information helps the Australian Government determine your quarantine arrangements (if required). It allows the relevant health departments to contact you if someone you travelled with tests positive for COVID-19.

If you do not complete the declaration you may not be able to board your flight, or you may experience delays when you arrive in Australia.

Signs out every time

While this app is more functional than the last app, it still has a way to go. The main problem is the app constantly signs you out, and offers no FaceID based sign on. Secondly, the questions asked are sometimes repetitive, seemingly asking for the same information in multiple ways. Third, the overall flow, creating multiple forms, is not intuitive and there is no way to export your Summary at the end apart from screen shots.

Overall, the team really need to think more about the user experience and not only about the questions all the government departments obviously require. An easier, streamlined experience would make this much easier to use.

Epic Fail - Frustrating - Useless

This App is poorly designed and programmed. There are bugs and much of the functionality does not work quickly or at all. This is a complete disaster. The largest issue is the flight and date selector for arrivals. Flight information is wrong or just not there. You can’t process an application if you don’t have the correct flight data. A 15 year old could have designed a better app. It makes me never want to travel to Australia just to avoid this pain.

Transiting requires an address!

I’m trying to use this app for a trip where I am transiting through Australia on my way to NZ, and it keeps asking me for an address in Australia. I’ve already selected transiting and staying less than 8 hours, but it still is asking for an address. God help me!
