Auth0 Guardian is like Google Authenticator but without the friction. You get a push notification, swipe left, accept, and you are logged in. It's second factor authentication made simple.

Note for developers: Auth0 Guardian is one of the multi factor authentication options that can be used within the Auth0 identity platform ( You can enable it with a single switch and you can choose to support SMS as well. You don't have to change your apps to start supporting multi factor authentication.

Confirmation not popping up

When I get a confirmation notification the confirm page doesn’t show immediately. I have to click on the respective app the back out to the list again, then the page comes up

No advantage to regular SMS two factor

I had to use this for about a year and it generally worked OK, until I got a new phone. Then the app did not transfer well and it was unusable. I never saw why this was an improvement over regular two factor authentication using SMS text messages it seems I have just one more app on my phone that doesn’t give me much benefit.

Crashes Immediately

Crashes immediately upon launch. I have an iPhone Xs on the latest iOS, and my application is up to date. This would be frustrating if I didn’t need the app to access work-critical accounts, but instead it’s debilitating. If you have the option to use a well established MFA system (i.e. Authy, Google Auth, Microsoft Authenticator, etc.), DO SO. Will do my best to avoid this app in the future, as unstable MFA is unacceptable.
