Sentinel - 2FA Authenticator 4+

My go to 2FA solution

I've switched from Authy, Google Authenticator, and Microsoft Authenticator to this app, and I absolutely love it! The interface is crisp, clean, and highly customizable, which makes it a joy to use.

One of my top priorities was seamless syncing across all my devices, and this app delivers perfectly with iCloud Keychain support.

Backups and folders function exactly as expected, making organization a breeze.

The custom icon selector and theme customization options are incredibly useful, adding a personal touch to the app.

I also had a great experience with the developer. I reported a few bugs with the iPhone widgets, and they were promptly fixed.

Overall, this app has exceeded my expectations in every way!

Clean, simple, and effective.

Now that 2STP Authenticator (which I loved using on my iPhone and MacBook Pro) won’t be developed anymore and is no longer available from the App Store (the developer was hired by Apple), I started looking for a simple, fast, easy-to-use 2-step authenticator with apps for both iOS and MacOS to replace it. I tried SAASPASS, but it’s too complicated and bloated with unnecessary features for me.

If you need a simple, fast, secure, and straightforward 2-step authenticator with pretty much no learning curve (or need to get in touch with tech support to figure out how it works), then Obsidian is a great choice.

Nice App - IF You Can Get it Working

After dodging WAY too many bullets, I finally decided to look for a multi-factor authentication app for my personal use. And after doing a lot of research, I finally decided on this one. Most of the reviews were glowing. First of all, it is a BEAR to get accounts loaded. It took me almost two hours of trial and error to get two accounts loaded, and one of them didn't load properly, so now I have to call tech support to get my account reset so I can try again. I tried to load a third, and got the "Please send money", which I did. Twice. On two different devices, because the third account I was trying to load will only let me use an authenticator app from the mobile site. For the record, I don't object to paying for something like this, but could you be a little more upfront that you'll have to buy the app for each device you're running it on? Oh, and you're not getting a third payment out of me. I guess I'll just have to turn my iPad into a Kindle, since I won't be able to do anything else on it without paying for another copy. At this point, I feel like I have too much money invested in this thing to delete it, but by God it's tempting not just forget the whole thing and hope I can keep dodging bullets.

I think there is a misunderstanding!
You DON’T have to pay for each device, we are not that mad 😊

A payment is shared within the same Apple ID and also within the Apple ID’s familiy.

The app also suggests to “Sign-in with Apple” to facilitate the sharing of the purchase between devices.

Please ask Apple for reimbursement on the second purchase and contact our support to help you setup the premium plan on all devices.
