Autism communication games ABC 4+

One of the only apps I let my 3 year old play!

I’m very particular about what I let my child play, the tablet gets timing limits and that time is well spent with this app. I’m happy my child chooses to play this game the most, and knowing she’s actually learning stuff is awesome. Lots of options from stories to games, she doesn’t realize how much she’s taking in!

Awesome app but makes accessibility features act funny

This is an awesome app, but my only two complaints are in the confusing layout, and that it doesn’t narrate the categories when you scroll into them, and the fact that as a blind and autistic user when I turn on text to speech, a.k.a. voiceover after playing this app it doesn’t talk or it will only talk when it wants to sometimes. It doesn’t do that with any other app when I exit out of it. Only this app. Please fix. Other than that great app. My favorite thing has got to be the interactive stories and the fact that there’s games, you can play as you’re reading the story I really love that format. It kind of reminds me of the leapfrog and VTEC warning systems that you can play games on while you’re reading the story. And the games are sometimes embedded in the story on some systems. Awesome format, other than the issues I’ve mentioned above.

Cute app but has Several Errors

Parents, please check content and make sure your kids are being taught properly. Remember young minds will absorb things easily, especially in repetition.
The idea of this app is really great but it is filled with many errors. So beware.

On our first time exploring the app together, kiddo and I found the interactive reading stories have spelling errors.
We then went to explore the Geometry section, which has an interactive game for kids to tap the shapes. One asked “Which shape has SIX sides”
Kiddo kept tapping a hexagon but the app kept buzzing it as an error. An octagon flew by so I tapped it just for a tat, and it said that was correct.
There are more errors throughout as well.

Overall, I think with some serious editing this can be a fantastic enrichment for kiddos, provided there are correct contents being taught.
Sadly, we will not continue using the app.
