Auto Refresh Pro for Safari is a nice looking and easy to use Safari extension that will help you to auto-refresh/reload web pages at a predefined interval time.
Just run the application, enable the Auto Refresh Pro extension in your Safari browser, choose the interval to automatically reload a webpage and that is all. The extension will do everything for you and guess what... is lightweight and not a memory eater.

Does what is claimed, but not a good solution
Doe this auto-refresh web pages? Yes. Yes it does. The problem is, if you want to auto-refresh a web page, this extension auto-refreshed every open tab. so, if you need to use this as a keep-alive on a web page, all your tabs are refreshed. And these refreshes mean that whatever page you are currently viewing will refresh, and return you back to the top of the viewable page making it impossible to read large documents in a browser, and refresh a specific tab. This, to me, is a major lmitation that impoacts the usablity of Safari, which means this is not the right solution for me.

I first downloaded and usded it without a problem. 1 week later, once i click start, it refreshes once and doesnt work again. i have to uninstall it and reinstall it few times a day.
Outstanding
The only auto refresh for safari that works and it has 1 second interval refresh. Great customer service available too. Easy to install and use. Highly recommend
