AutoMotion 17+

I’m just beginning to narrow down what I want in our next vehicle, and used a car-buying service that comes with a membership to see what kind of discounts were available through them. Without informing me beforehand, the service sent a request for me to be contacted directly by three local dealers! It took me two weeks to get off their contact lists, and I was furious.

With AutoMotion, I can browse to my heart’s content and not have to talk to a soul - I wish I had tried this first! I’m not ready to seriously shop yet, but can now gather the information I need without triggering sales calls.

Everyone knows how frustrating the car buying experience is and how many of us get so consumed with the very thought of “where do I begin?” that often times we jump right into the next step without doing much research. In comes the auto motion app. This app has a great potential to be something that many people can use to see different types of cars available in the market and compare them to each other. Also, there is a unique feature where you can build your own car from the ground up based on all the features and specifications that you desire for her you’re making money. However, I was noticing as I was doing a search with one of their virtual assistants that it is done through a process of text messaging back and forth with this “assistant/agent = computer” and there was a very lengthy pause in between responses. That became frustrating after giving one of my answers more than 4 minutes to garner a response from my “agent.” Alas, nothing came and I experienced what I perceive to be my first glitch. Overall, I love the design and think with a few more tweaks here and there, the creators can get this app exactly where the consumer market needs it to be.

In using some of the other car shopping apps I’ve noticed they don’t always show all the new inventory dealers have. Even if you find something you have to fill out a form that goes to the dealer but much of the time I did not receive a reply about the car i was interested in? This app seems to have more new car options. If you want used, doesnt work well but I was only interested in new. The most useful feature however is the option to have their car expert people actually track down the car and confirm its available. Can’t tell how maddening it was not getting a reply or a reply about a different vehicle from dealers!
