Our idea is simple - people should choose dates based on common interests, not selfies. Got an extra ticket to see LCD Soundsystem live? Snagged reservations for a new hot restaurant? Hate seeing movies alone? That's why Avec exists - so you can go to events you care about with people you're curious about.

Just post an event you've got tickets to, and wait for requests to roll in. Users can search for events by day, keyword or topic. Nobody sees your profile unless they're interested in your event, and you choose who gets the pleasure of your company.

simple and easy

The app proves best when it comes to finding people to hang out with that have similar interests as you. I wasn't even looking specifically for a romantic date but more looking to meet someone who enjoyed the same things as me. Functionality was relatively simple and easy.
