This game is everything!

Avery is an addictive game and very fun to play. Not to mention that I fell in love with the AI. I appreciate the glitchy aesthetic and how your able to learn and ask questions by typing them out yourself. All in all a great idea and great job by everyone!!!

Cool On paper but not so much in practice

Interesting concept, I really like this kind of game and it was cool to see one where you type your own responses rather than choose between 2 options, however, with that came drawbacks. While you can respond however you like, the game is so set on driving you forward that it seems there is only one possible path and depending on what you say, in order to do so, what Avery says makes absolutely no sense in order to keep the game going. It seems to encourage you to say certain things rather than giving you an actual say in what happens.

Mostly lame, timesink annoyance

AVERY states, I’ll be back in a few hours. Game is faking this since it is run off a central server and the plot unfolds poorly like FURBY fake A.I.
In essence the AVERY app “pretends to learn, but is merely following a routine scripted plot progression (worse paced than a 8-bit text adventure). Pitiful effort for a modern day text adventure all the glitch effects are annoying too. I grew up in the era of C64 & Apple ][e gaming and this “A.I. Game” is worse of a lame joke than ELIZA.
