A simple menubar app for OSX that tracks how long you've been actively using your computer.

Aware tells you how long you've been using your computer in hours and minutes. It knows this because it detects the movements of your mouse and the keystrokes on your keyboard. After a short time of inactivity (a break), Aware will pause the timer, then reset and start again when more activity is detected.

There are no assumptions made as to what you do with this information. No popups or alarms to tell you to take a break, just a record of time tracked in your menubar for easy access.

Great App

App is super helpful for knowing how long I have been actively using my computer! My only complaint is that I wish there was an option to start the app when my computer starts, there are many times were I wonder how long I have been using my computer but the app is not running in the background anymore.

Great v1 App

This is such a handy tool for keeping track of projects I work on. I seem to experience a consistent reset right around the 2hr mark where the counter starts over from the beginning. There have been other times where the computer has been asleep over night and I wake it to find the counter at a random time of 23m or 18m.

I really love the out-of-the-way nature. One small request would be a manual reset button in the menubar to start the counter back at zero.

Thank you so much for this and keep up the good work.

Amazingly useful

Really great app, congrats. Really simple, really useful and unintrusive. Use it everyday for tracking the time spent on the computer.
Here are some suggestions for future updates:
- putting the timer in the notifications bar
- having a reset button in the drop-down menu (necessary for those of us who use the app in clamshell mode)
