Description

AxCrypt is file security made easy.

The AxCrypt mobile app let's you open and view any file encrypted by our full versioned desktop apps.

The app cannot (yet) encrypt files on your phone, it will let you open files encrypted by you or shared with you by someone else.

AxCrypt implements strong encryption with AES-128 or AES-256, along with very advanced, yet easy to use, features for sharing and receiving encrypted files to and from others without sharing passwords.

The app is compatible with all files encrypted since 2001 with AxCrypt.

A Premium subscription is required, a Trial period is included with the download.

Now users can purchase premium subscription form the app itself.

Landscape view not available

The major gripe I have with the app is that file names are truncated when in portrait (the only) view. I use yymmdd at the beginning of my working file names to be able to sort by prep date. That means pretty much all I can see of the file name is the date, leaving the subject unknowable. I’d like to be able to turn the phone to landscape view and see the entire file name.

Works great

The negative reviews are from uses trying this as a stand-alone app. It only works if you’ve paid for the premium desktop subscription. I have that and this works perfect with cloud stored encrypted documents. Just open them on the app to view them if you don’t have access to your desktop. It’s a double layer of security. If some hacks your cloud storage they can only download encrypted gibberish.

Great Software!

I absolutely love the desktop premium version. It is so easy to encrypt and decrypt files and folders. The iOS app does a great job of viewing those encrypted files store in major cloud services. I will give it the 5th star when the app is able to encrypt files on its own.

Initiating encryption via the app is desperately needed. I create/receive PDF files via iOS that I would like to immediately encrypt and store in the cloud.
