Ratings and Reviews
Very Easy to Use
As a first time mom I was worried about keeping track of my son’s feeding time, diapers and etc. I knew the Dr would ask me these questions and this app helps me keep things organized. I like that each feature can be customized into a little or alot for his diaper amount and that each bottle feeding is separated by half an ounce. It’s easy to use for me. I’d recommend it for moms to use as well. Makes my life simple.
Overall helpful, could use some tweaks
Overall, I'm a fan of the Babio app and have been using it since day one with my now 11 week old. A few suggestions I have for the app:
-The display of the length of time for breastfeeding. Previously it was on the edges and now they're all to one side, which makes it more complicated to remember which side you last fed on. I'd suggest that if it's the left side they ate on, the time is on the far left side, and if the right breast, then the far right side.
-It would be great if on the screen displaying the last feeding it would tell you not only the time but which side your baby ate on last. (EX: Last feeding at 11:00am R / L (for right or left side))
-I've had several times where I start the feeding timer and go to another app, only to switch back to Babio and the timer erases. Not sure if this is just a glitch, as it doesn't happen every time, but at least 1-2x per week it happens so I have to run the stopwatch on my iPhone in addition, which shouldn't be necessary. This is also true with the nap timer, that it will stop and erase if the app isn't left open (and naps are obviously longer than feedings so it's not really feasible to leave the app open on the main screen for 2 hours).
In general, it's a handy app, especially given that it's free! Thanks =)
Pretty good, could use needed enhancements.
This app is easy to use and helps you track all the key metrics that your pediatrician will ask about.
There are some room for improvements to help give a mom/dad insight into higher level key information she/he is tracking on this app. Hopefully the app developers read this! For instance, in the overview section for diapers it would be more beneficial to have a daily count of stinky and wet diapers than the bubbles. For the nap time it would be useful to have an overview that gave total sleep time in the day vs night. In the breastfeeding overview section it would be ideal to have the total time per feeding as well as the daily average time. In the details on breastfeeding it would be nice to be able to mark which side (left or right) that you started feeding on.
