Ratings and Reviews
When the whole system works it’s great
The tracker and app together do a great job of tracking and reporting on progress. Over the last 12 to 18 months the backend server functions seems to be struggling. This month, May 2019, activity tracking and standings seems to have worked for a few days then stopped. This happens almost every month. Either it doesn’t work for a few days or starts then breaks. I’ve logged two session with high piq scores, but haven’t seen any status emails.
My device is current on maintenance, my iPhone is current on maintenance and I’m reinstalling the app again just to see if that addresses the issue.
I’ve had the tracker for 5 years or so and have logged over 170,000 hits. I would have had more, but have had two surgeries in that time frame where I lost 30 months of play....
A good start
I enjoy this app a lot since it provides a lot of very helpful information and I don’t want to miss it.
The pro and at the same time con is the fact the underlying sensor doesn’t interfere with the racket. Other external racket sensor connected to the racket change the way the racket plays a little bit. The downside is probably it’s not as accurate as a racket connected sensor. However, I don’t need absolute accuracy since I get consistent data allowing me to compare and trend progress. However, the app doesn’t make it easy to track progress (or I haven’t yet figured out how to do it)
I gave it “only” 3 stars since it is not using the full potential of the data. What am I interested in? I like to know if I make progress and I don’t see an easy way to get a trend analysis or compare sessions.
Further I like to encourage the developers to make it easier to navigate through the app.
The community or challenge function are for at least less important.
It would be interesting to know how accurate the data are. As an example the serve speed of the ball will be influenced a lot by the wrist movement. However the sensor is below the wrist. Can it still detect the difference in wrist movement and the impact on the ball or racket speed?
This is not a criticism, I just would like to know the answer.
Overall a fun app with a lot more potential.

Have a nice day!
All the best,
Lots of fun information
You can see the number of serves, smashes, forehands and backhands, top and average speed of shots. In addition, it points out your winning factors and how well you hit your shots (piq). The speed number is not accurate on an absolute basis but useful on a relative basis. I think the big problems are that it doesn't summarize historical information comparatively, the information on average top speeds, piq by shot, top spin, owner the course of the match is great but only comes out when it's a winning factor. It should be available all the time because apparently the info is there. I also think the ability to challenge others in the community is not important to me. Overall pretty fun.
