Baby Emotions from I Can Do Apps is an educational tool designed in collaboration with a Speech Language Pathologist that allows you to introduce the concept of emotions to younger children. Children enjoy looking at faces, especially of other children. This app allows children to practice identifying and imitation of emotions in a fun and simple way using real faces. Baby emotions include - happy, sad, scared, surprised, tired and calm.
Baby Emotions from I Can Do Apps is ideal for parents, teachers, therapists and individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder, social language disorders and behavioral challenges.
Identifying, understanding, and responding to emotions are very important skills for individuals to develop. Ratings and Reviews
This app is disappointing. Unless your child can read it will require 100% parental guidance. Yes, I understand this is a tool to be used with a parent. However, there should be an option for independent learning. The app should speak to the child and it does not. It is just flash cards with labels. The end.
I bought the Emotions bundle and did not particularly need or think I wanted this app because of my caseload. After downloading, I actually have found some of my ASD clients enjoy it and are less intimidated by the baby faces and are willing to talk more about how the baby’s might be feeling and what may be causing these feelings (hungry, dirty diaper, hot/cold ,etc). I was surprised I would have a use for it but I did!
Better than the baby books!
My baby loves to look at other baby faces. This is better than the baby books she has. It has many pictures and nice music. Best dollar I ever spent!
With Family Sharing set up, up to six family members can use this app.
