Description

Backlogger is a game organizer that lets you track your progress through your massive backlog of games. It doesn't matter which console it was released for. If you want to complete all your Game.com collection, or want to get through every game featuring poison mushrooms, make a playlist and queue it up to play next.

Now playing cards show game box art with an interface that allows you quickly update your progress in games, and see info about them.

Searches GiantBomb, an ever-updating database of games for filling in all the details about a game.

Allows for adding your own platforms in case you happen to have some sort of weird hack of a game released unofficially for a platform (like if you wanted to beat Half-Life on your iPod mini).

Make playlists so that you can create a list of games you'd like to play in any order you'd like. Make a spooky games list, or games in a series, it really doesn't matter what you do, just don't not make any. That's sad :(

Import games from Steam so you don't have to manually add them all in.

Great App

I have tried 7 different video collection apps before sticking with this one and it’s free! The user interface is nice and clean. I like the ability to create custom lists, the ability to sort by title within the lists and platforms. Other apps add by order which not helpful when trying to quickly look to see if I already online a game. I also like the dedicated wishlist and the ability to mark a percentage of the game to track progress.

The only downfalls I have came across is the inability to search by scanning bar codes, the search seems a little finicky, and the inability to add a title if you are unable to find it in the lookup. Out of 43 titles, 4 were not found in the look up. Also it would be nice to have more information pull into the game detail such as videos, hints, reviews etc as some other apps do but none pull all items into one place. I would even pay for these upgrades.

I hope you consider these changes in the future. Thank you for the wonderful app.

Backlogging taken to a whole new level

I’ll get started right away. It’s great. Seeing snapshots of my games I’m playing, phenomenal. Seeing percentage, amazing. And it puts everything into categories that are easy to follow with a page that shows you overall. It’s an amazing app!
The bad - it takes up so much space! I’m currently at 3 Gb of data on my internal memory with 232 games. Why is it so disproportionately large? Is it keeping copies of all the images? I like adding my notes and that helps, but, please, help me reduce the size of the app on my phone.
Otherwise, great app!

Edited: Great app thank you!

All the issues i was having were fixed so yep 5 stars! Im still a little upset because there is no feature to manually add games to your personal library but ive been able to find a workaround with the playlist option for a bit. If that could be added this app would be so perfect.

Old Review: I would really love. Give this app 5 stars. I love what it does and it’s one of the best apps for backlogging on iOS, for me personally, that has almost all the games I play!
The only problem I have run into is that
1) If a title is not available please make a feature to manually create or add one with a picture upload option (like the playlists can have)
And
2) Unfortunately it’s my second day using it and the app keeps crashing for nearly everything. It won’t let me open my Nintendo switch console folder and it also keeps crashing when I attempt to search games. I tested it out by redownloading the app and it only happens after I import my backup from iCloud.
I REALLY love the app and can’t really use it because of this for right now. I really hope it can be fixed somehow. I’ll rate it 5 stars for sure when it is!

Developer Response ,

Hey give it a try now! I have hopefully fixed the crashing issue, and manually creating titles is in the cards for a future update! Thanks for your review!
