Its the model rocket you’ve always wanted! See a life-sized Apollo Saturn V rocket up close from every angle walk under and around it, then blast it off! Authentic mission sounds using 3D positional audio — wear headphones for the coolest effect — combine with realistic high-detail graphics, physically-based rendering, and HDR audio recordings of real rocket launches to make the experience just like being there!
You’ll be able to launch your rocket again and again, from anywhere you like. Just tap where you want your rocket to appear. It's that easy! Launch a tiny model on your desktop or a full-sized giant in a field!
Backyard Apollo offers ways to customize your experience too, making it even more fun to launch your rockets and take snapshots for your friends. “3…2…1…Houston: we have liftoff”!
This update fixes the "failure detected - restarting simulator" messages which sometimes occur when location services aren't available. This update also fixes some minor layout issues in the menus, plus the app will now wait until you lower your phone/pad before it offers to load another rocket for you.

Wow !! This is cool
This is too cool. I’m using an iPhone SE and man is it awsum -
I have iOS 12.1. Program crashes on startup. “Required sensor failed. Resetting simulator”. It loops with this message over and over. Really disappointed. And I’m also out $2. I was looking forward to this app being an avid Apollo fan.
Thx John for the feedback. The “simulator reset” was unsuccessful, but I figured out the bug. The iPhone location must be turned on in the privacy setting, and this alleviates the issue. Also, the “outside lighting” must be turned off in the app if it’s dark outside. If it’s not in turned off, the app will not work correctly. I hope this helps you with future releases. That being said, I’ll give the app 4 stars. The accuracy of the rocket is really nice, and how you incorporated the AR. Nice Work!

I'm sorry you had trouble, I've seen this sensor error too but only rarely. It's coming from ARKit itself and once I figure out how to get ARKit out of that state I'll post an update. In the meantime, you can clear the error by restarting your device -- I've never had that fail to get rid of the problem. Sorry again you're seeing it, it is rare but regardless I'll keep working on it and get it fixed soon.
I should also mention that you can get a refund. Look in the receipt email for a link where you can request your money back. I hope you'll try restarting and then find how much fun the app is, but I'd rather you have a refund than be unhappy.
Crashes on intro... needs to skip that part to work?

Correct, a problem introduced in iOS 11.3 causes issues with the rocket labels. You can work around this by turning off rocket labels at the bottom of the settings, and we will have a patch out very shortly which addresses it. Thanks for your patience, Brian from Wobbleworks.
