BADLAND is an award-winning atmospheric side-scrolling action adventure platformer set in a gorgeous forest full of various inhabitants, trees and flowers. Although the forest appears to be right out of a beautiful fairy tale, there’s something terribly wrong. The player controls one of the forest dwellers to find out what’s going on, and discovers an astonishing number of imaginative traps and obstacles on the way.
BADLAND takes side-scrollers to the next level with its innovative physics-based gameplay combined with stunning, atmospheric graphics and audio.
BADLAND also features a highly original local multiplayer mode for up to four players on the same device, where the name of the game is survival of the fittest with no rules. It’s totally OK to push your rivals in front of spinning circular saws to survive. Badland is an eerie sidescroller in which you guide a nondescript creature through creepy and perilous environments. Thanks to simple controls and obvious objectives, the game is instantly accessible, but winding levels and unique power-ups make each stage an exercise in careful timing and hasty strategies. As the gameplay evolves and becomes increasingly bizarre, Badland remains incredibly fun.
Level Editor - Author Name Issues.
I absolutely love Badland, it's pretty much the best video game ever in my opinion. And I was thrilled when they added that incredible level editor function, it was a dream come true for me.
But, when I'm attempting to publish a level I've created. For some reason the game is using an old Game Center name of mine for the Author Name and I'm not sure why it's doing this?
I've updated my name to something new in the Game Center settings. And when I launch Badland it greets me with this newly updated name. But, every time I go to publish my level, the game still for some odd reason insists on using my old Game Center name and not my new one. It's very confusing to me why it's doing this?
I've tried uninstalling and re-installing the game but that didn't fix it either unfortunately.
Do you think that you might update the game and allow us to customize and set our Author Name, just like we are able to do with the Level Name? Instead of the game just using a Game Center name.
I would be really grateful if you would please look into this issue I'm experiencing and hopefully update Badland so that we can customize our Author Name in the level editor please. Thanks if you will consider this, thanks for this amazing game and the truly remarkable level editor and God bless.

Love it w/only minor things wrong to not give it a 5
I absolutely love playing this( & badlands 2 as well if you like this) I would of given it a 5 but for my biggest pet peeve-is that after completing a level if you want to go to menu it doesn’t bring up the level you are in you have to figure out what one it is and sometimes thru trial & error -this is so small of an issue in the over all game! Take not developers of Badlands make the Menu go strait to the level you are on and if paused say the levels name do you can remember which one you are playing if you go looking at others if you skipped it because it was hard. Also if a a game area is too hard but doesn’t offer a skip ahead to next area there should be a quit button auto jump ahead a few places. Lastly if skipping a part that’s to hard I want an option to be able to see it done ...how did they do it if I couldn’t do it, that would be so cool! Thanks & Enjoy playing this great game that doesn’t need any WIFI to play it either. Saved my sanity in the CA blackouts during fire season PG&E put us thru!
