Bakely Wedding Cake Decorating 4+

I loved decorating the cakes, but the app is very glitchy. I was only able to design one cake and then it started glitching out terribly. I wasn’t able to rotate the screen or change the color of the cake or anything. Really good app other than the glitching. Needs updating to fix the problem.

This is a good app for cake design, being realistic and playful, but some features just DO NOT WORK. One, the undo and redo buttons. When you click the undo button, it undoes your last move, but moves some other decorations on the cake or can remove tiers. Then, when you press the redo button, it moves everything around and is dysfunctional. Two, there should not be features that you can only get by spending money. This is a design app and users should be able to customize freely without having to worry about spending to unlock more features. There should also be a way to view all of the cakes you’ve made. Once you click save and make a new cake, the other cake disappears. I just couldn’t find what I was looking for, and this app could be greatly improved.

As for your saved cakes, they can be found in the menu on the top right corner under "load". Hope this helps :)

This app has very few features, a clunky user interface that has difficult to view control and adjustment sliders (the numbers to see the value are below your thumb when you adjust, for example, the size of the tier), and horrible graphics. Furthermore, it is riddled with advertisements and has predatory practices. For example, the moment you launch/open it for the first time, you do a demo, the. you tap free trial, and it automatically tries to get you to double click to buy a year’s worth of membership for $100.

All in all, I’ve owned an iPhone since 2007 and have never left an app review but this app, in 2024, has broke that streak/trend because it genuinely is that horrible of an app.

We'll look into the issues you mentioned, but we don't agree that we use any predatory practices and strongly contest this. We use a standard pattern for our paywall which clearly states which subscription you have selected when activating a free trial.
