I’ve been playing this game for almost a year now and it’s honestly nearly the perfect game. Countless hours on this thing. I watch doc and plenty of other people on YT including the multiplayer mod (which is such a great idea). I’m noticing some frame dropping issues on iOS ever since this new software update. No biggie, just wanted to bring it to your attention. I know this is more of a passion project than anything else so I’m not stressing. Keep doing great work I’m here for it.

Balatro+ is a solid and addictive twist on poker with a roguelike feel. The gameplay is satisfying once you get the hang of it, though the upgrade system can be a bit confusing at first. The key to progressing is learning how to upgrade your poker hands strategically; leaning into those upgrades is where the real depth and fun emerge. Once it clicks, it’s hard to put down.

As over saturated as the “deck-builder rouge-like” genre is this is everything that genre has needed to be. Great design that’s always beautiful and clever. There isn’t some deep lore because there’s such a focus on pure arcade-like gameplay. It’s perfect for mobile since the controls are simple and it has such a pick-up-and-play style. I’ll play this until the day I die.

This game is my absolute favorite game. The joker cards keep it fun and interesting. It’s designed beautifully and is easy to learn with the provided tutorial. My one issue is that the screen freezes every once in a while. This makes it so I can’t interact with anything for about 5 seconds. Small problem, but overall the game is amazing.

This game aid very fun until you hit a blind where every card comes out face down. Always a run killer no matter how well I’ve prepared. Kinda lame that there is no counter or it’s not like every other hand, at that point it’s just a oh well pick random cards and hope for the best. In a game that is definitely strategic this seems like a huge misstep

This game is one of the best games I’ve ever played. On top of being a perfect game, I was able to play it offline when I lost my internet for a few days. The music is relaxing, the art is top tier, and the accessibility options are good too. I rarely call a game perfect. I think Balatro is a perfect game.
